Motherhood is a complex job. The responsibilities involved are often emotionally draining and the burden involved can be overwhelming at times. Moreover, it's a job that never ends, no matter how "grown up" a child may think he or she is. Emotional support from other people is often critical in helping mothers cope with this challenging job.
